ПРЕЗИДЕНТ АЗЕРБАЙДЖАНА ИЛЬХАМ АЛИЕВ ПРИЗВАЛ УКРАИНУ НЕ МИРИТЬСЯ С РОССИЙСКОЙ ОККУПАЦИЕЙ
Соответствующее заявление азербайджанский лидер сделал во время церемонии открытия IV Шушинского глобального медиафорума на тему "Миссия СМИ в укреплении мира: восстановление правды и восстановление доверия", отвечая на вопрос украинского журналиста Дмитрия Гордона. Об этом сообщают азербайджанские, украинские и российские СМИ.
Напомним, что форум был проведен 13-14 июля с.г. в древнеармянском городе Шуши (Нагорный Карабах), временно оккупированном Азербайджаном в ходе агрессии в 2020-2023 гг.
Во время выступления Алиев напомнил о рекомендации, которую, по его словам, он дал Украине еще в прошлом году. Президент Азербайджана отметил, что Киев не должен соглашаться с потерей своих территорий, несмотря на внешнее давление.
"Я и сегодня подтверждаю свой прошлогодний совет Украине: не соглашайтесь с оккупацией. Мы знаем, что со стороны определенных кругов оказывалось давление с требованием прекратить боевые действия, звучали предложения фактически закрепить оккупацию. Но украинский народ и правительство на это не согласились", — сказал Алиев.
В то же время он отметил, что, по его убеждению, любую войну необходимо прекращать как можно скорее. "Уже давно следовало осознать, что эту войну нужно немедленно остановить. Конечно, это гуманистическая позиция Азербайджана и моя личная позиция", – заявил президент.
Алиев провел параллели между ситуацией в Нагорном Карабахе и Донбассе. Он привёл в качестве примера опыт своей страны, которая, по его словам, долгое время находилась под давлением международных партнёров по вопросу Карабаха. Он рассказал, что во время Второй карабахской войны Азербайджан также призывали прекратить боевые действия после захвата части территорий, однако власти не отказались от курса на восстановление территориальной целостности.
Президент Азербайджана также сообщил, что хорошо знаком с позицией президента Украины Владимира Зеленского; в частности, они обсуждали этот вопрос во время встречи в апреле с.г. По словам Алиева, позиция Азербайджана в отношении Украины остается неизменной.
"Мы всегда поддерживали, поддерживаем и будем поддерживать территориальную целостность Украины. Мы выступаем за её суверенитет и неприкосновенность границ. Без согласия народа никакие государственные границы не могут быть изменены", — заявил он.
Алиев добавил, что Азербайджан продолжает оказывать помощь Украине как на государственном уровне, так и со стороны граждан. По его словам, поддержка оказывается искренне, а не ради пиара, а общей целью является помощь стране, территориальная целостность которой была нарушена.
Ранее OBOZ.UA сообщал, что 25 апреля президент Украины Владимир Зеленский прибыл с визитом в Азербайджан. В рамках визита глава государства встретился со своим азербайджанским коллегой Ильхамом Алиевым. Вместе они подписали шесть документов.

AZERBAIJANI PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV HAS CALLED ON UKRAINE NOT TO PUT UP WITH THE RUSSIAN OCCUPATION
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has called on Ukraine not to accept the occupation of its territories. According to him, Azerbaijan consistently stands for the sovereignty and inviolability of Ukraine's internationally recognized borders.
The Azerbaijani leader made the corresponding statement during the opening ceremony of the IV Shusha Global Media Forum on the theme "Media mission in strengthening peace: restoring truth and restoring trust," answering a question from Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon. This is reported by Azerbaijani, Ukrainian and Russian media. It should be recalled that the forum was held on July 13-14 this year in the ancient Armenian city of Shushi (Nagorno-Karabakh), temporarily occupied by Azerbaijan during the aggression in 2020-2023. During his speech, Aliev recalled the recommendation that, according to him, he gave to Ukraine last year. The Azerbaijani President noted that Kiev should not accept the loss of its territories, despite external pressure. "Today I confirm my advice to Ukraine last year: do not agree with the occupation. We know that pressure was exerted from certain circles demanding that the fighting cease, and proposals were made to actually consolidate the occupation. But the Ukrainian people and the government did not agree to this," Aliyev said. At the same time, he noted that, in his opinion, any war should be stopped as soon as possible. "It should have been realized long ago that this war must be stopped immediately. Of course, this is Azerbaijan's humanistic position and my personal position," the president said.
Aliev drew parallels between the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and Donbas. He cited as an example the experience of his country, which, according to him, has been under pressure from international partners on the Karabakh issue for a long time. He said that during the Second Karabakh War, Azerbaijan was also called upon to cease hostilities after seizing part of the territories, but the authorities did not abandon their course to restore territorial integrity. The Azerbaijani President also said that he is well acquainted with the position of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky; in particular, they discussed this issue during a meeting in April this year. According to Aliyev, Azerbaijan's position towards Ukraine remains unchanged. "We have always supported, support and will continue to support the territorial integrity of Ukraine. We stand for its sovereignty and inviolability of borders. No state borders can be changed without the consent of the people," he said. Aliyev added that Azerbaijan continues to provide assistance to Ukraine both at the state level and from citizens. According to him, the support is provided sincerely, not for the sake of PR, and the common goal is to help a country whose territorial integrity has been violated. THE UNITED STATES, RUSSIA AND FRANCE HAVE ACCUSED AZERBAIJAN OF LINKS WITH INTERNATIONAL TERRORISM
Taking into account the international consensus on this issue, Armenia may initiate an international counter-terrorism operation against the Azerbaijani regime through the UN or OSCE, given its obvious connection with international terrorism, confirmed by the leadership of Russia, France and the United States.
