Свой
человек в Майами. Близкий к Путину миллиардер, обвиняемый во вмешательстве в
американские выборы, избежал санкций и вывез семью в США
Один из богатейших людей России - Арас Агаларов - выступает за пожизненное правление Путина, без конкурса получает от Кремля миллиардные господряды, сотрудничает с "Единой Россией" и даже засветился в скандале с вмешательством в американские выборы, но до сих пор так и не попал в западные санкционные списки. Более того — жена и дочь олигарха стали гражданками США и живут в Майами.
Майами — выбор патриота
"Я абсолютно искренне считаю, что для России Владимир Владимирович Путин — идеальный вариант, — заверял еще 10 лет назад владелец Crocus Group Арас Агаларов. — Если бы он согласился (на пожизненное правление — The Insider), то я только приветствовал бы. Страна развалится с вашим Навальным".
В интервью Агаларов часто подчеркивает свою приверженность России. И гражданство, как заявлял, у него одно — российское. Семья Агаларова, впрочем, предпочитает совсем другую страну. Дочь и жена олигарха поселились в элитном доме на американском побережье.
После начала полномасштабной войны с Украиной многие российские бизнесмены и политики, опасаясь санкций, переписывали заграничное имущество на доверенных людей. Не стал исключением и Агаларов. Согласно имеющимся у The Insider документам, летом прошлого года олигарх оформил свою квартиру в Майами на жену Ирину Агаларову (Гриль). Проживает по этому адресу и его дочь Шейла Агаларова.
Расположено жилье Агаларовых на острове для богатейших людей — Fisher Island. Попасть на него можно только на частной лодке, вертолете или пароме.
Квартира площадью 266 м². оценивается в $4,3 млн.
Ранее было известно и о других приобретенных Агаларовым в США объектах недвижимости. Например, особняке в Нью-Джерси.
Более того, у жены и дочери Агаларова американское гражданство: The Insider нашел обеих женщин в списках американских избирателей. Причем Ирина зарегистрирована как республиканка, а Шейла — как демократка.
Интерес к американской политике у Агаларовых особый.
Между Трампом и «Единой Россией»
Арас Агаларов и его семья оказались фигурантами расследования по делу о вмешательстве в американские выборы в 2016 году, когда Кремль активно искал компромат, чтобы помешать избраться Хиллари Клинтон.
Самым известным эпизодом этого вмешательства стал взлом хакерами из РФ (войсковые части 26165 и 74455), известными как Fancy Bear, предвыборного штаба Хиллари Клинтон и Национального демократического комитета. После этого взлома файлы (особого компромата в которых, впрочем, не обнаружилось) были опубликованы WikiLeaks, возглавляемым Джулианом Ассанжем.
Но был и другой эпизод этого дела о вмешательстве в выборы, также расследовавшийся спецпрокурором Робертом Мюллером. Речь идет о встрече Дональда Трампа-младшего с российской юристкой Натальей Весельницкой, защищавшей фигурантов дела Магнитского (о масштабной мошеннической схеме вывода денег из российского бюджета, раскрытой юристом Сергеем Магнитским, позже убитым в российской тюрьме). Ключевым клиентом Весельницкой был владелец Prevezon Holdings Денис Кацыв, он попал под санкции за отмывание денег, выведенных по схеме Магнитского. Одним из кремлевских покровителей Кацыва был известный своими коррупционными скандалами генпрокурор Юрий Чайка. Судя по обнародованной в рамках американского расследования переписке, Трампу обещали некую информацию "высокого уровня секретности", исходящую от российского генпрокурора (что в итоге было передано, неизвестно, но сам Дональд Трамп-младший говорил, что был разочарован). Встреча эта была организована через сына Агаларова, Эмина, который пытался делать музыкальную карьеру. Связь Эмина с Трампом не была большим секретом, Трамп даже снялся в одном из клипов Эмина.
Арас Агаларов тоже был хорошо знаком с Трампом лично, причем еще задолго до той президентской кампании. В 2013-м они договаривались о бизнес-партнерстве в сфере строительства и совместно организовывали конкурсы красоты. А во время избирательной кампании Агаларов передавал Трампу дорогие подарки: в частности картину стоимостью десятки тысяч долларов. Агаларов отрицает, что, общаясь с Трампом, делал это от имени Владимира Путина, но вряд ли Трамп мог не знать о хороших контактах Агаларова в Кремле.
Интересное совпадение — именно Агаларов на правах рекламы (то есть за деньги) публиковал в "Коммерсанте" статью от своего имени в защиту Чайки после вышедшего разоблачительного расследования ФБК о его коррупционных делах. А Чайка, в свою очередь, публично выступал в защиту мошенников из дела Магнитского и заявлял, что "в деле нет ни одного факта".
Разумеется, одним только Чайкой кремлевские контакты Агаларова не ограничиваются. Так, например, он является одним из крупнейших подрядчиков "Единой России". В принадлежащем олигарху выставочном центре "Крокус Экспо" партия проводила свои съезды, а принадлежащая его сыну кейтеринговая компания обеспечивает единороссов питанием и обслуживает их банкеты.
Коррупционные подряды
Агаларов любит говорить, что не получает господряды, а "выполняет поручения" руководства страны. В том числе лично Путина, фото с которым висит у олигарха в кабинете. Достаются ему многомиллиардные государственные заказы в обход конкурсных процедур.
Так, Агаларов получил подряды на строительство стадионов к чемпионату мира по футболу, объектов Дальневосточного федерального университета, космодрома "Восточный", антиковидного госпиталя, Центральной кольцевой автодороги вокруг Москвы. В 2021 году Forbes оценивал его состояние в $1,2 млрд.
Совсем недавно, в августе 2023 года, АО "Крокус интернэшнл" Агаларова получило от Федеральной таможенной службы очередной контракт стоимостью 10,5 млн руб. на проектирование автомобильного пункта пропуска Торугарт в Кыргызской республике. Снова без проведения торгов.
А вот сын олигарха Эмин Агаларов, как заметил The Insider, формально получает подряды по итогам торгов — правда, подставных. Так, за право провести банкет за 37,5 млн руб. для подмосковных чиновников конкурировали всего две фирмы: ООО "Бэкстейдж Кейтеринг" и ООО "Крокус Ивент". Обе принадлежат Агаларову-младшему.
Агаларов-старший в это время ведет бизнес совместно с главной оборонной корпорацией страны. "Ростех" и олигарх пополам владеют ООО "Техсити Девелопмент". Эта фирма создана два года назад для реализации проекта "Ростех-Сити" — бизнес-комплекса со штаб-квартирой Сергея Чемезова на территории Тушинского аэродрома.
Несмотря на все эти тесные связи с российской властью и с оборонными корпорациями, Арас Агаларов не попал ни в какие санкционные списки, кроме украинского.

elections, but so far has not been included in Western sanctions lists.

In interviews, Agalarov
often emphasizes his commitment to Russia. And,
as he stated, he has only one citizenship — Russian. Agalarov's family,
however, prefers a completely different country. The daughter and wife of the
oligarch settled in an elite house on the American coast.
After the outbreak of a full-scale war with Ukraine, many Russian businessmen and politicians, fearing sanctions, transferred foreign property to trusted people. Agalarov was no exception. According to documents available to The Insider, last summer the oligarch issued his apartment in Miami to his wife Irina Agalarova (Grill). His daughter Sheila Agalarova also lives at this address.
The Agalarovs' housing

get to it by private boat, helicopter or ferry.
The apartment has an
area of 266 m2. It is estimated at $4.3 million.
It was previously known about other real estate properties acquired by Agalarov in the United States. For example, a mansion in New Jersey.

Between Trump and “United Russia”
Aras Agalarov and his
family turned out to be involved in the investigation into interference in the
American elections in 2016, when the Kremlin was actively looking for dirt to
prevent Hillary Clinton from being elected.
The most famous episode
of this intervention was the hacking of Hillary Clinton's campaign headquarters
and the Democratic National Committee by hackers from the RF (military units
26165 and 74455), known as Fancy Bear. After this hacking, the files (which,
however, did not contain any special compromising material) were published by
WikiLeaks, headed by Julian Assange.
But there was another episode of this election interference case, which was also investigated by Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller. We are talking about a meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, who defended the defendants in the Magnitsky case (about a large-scale fraudulent scheme for withdrawing money from the Russian budget, uncovered by lawyer Sergei Magnitsky, later killed in a Russian prison). Veselnitskaya's key client was the owner of Prevezon Holdings, Denis Katsyv, who was sanctioned for laundering money withdrawn under the Magnitsky scheme. One of Katsyv's Kremlin patrons was Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika, known for his corruption scandals. Judging by the correspondence released as part of the American investigation, Trump was promised some information of a "high level of secrecy" coming from the Russian Prosecutor General (what was eventually transferred is unknown, but Donald Trump Jr. himself said he was disappointed). This meeting was organized through Agalarov's son, Emin, who was trying to make a musical career. Emin's connection with Trump was not a big secret, Trump even starred in one of Emin's videos.
Aras Agalarov was also
well acquainted with Trump personally, and long before that presidential
campaign. In 2013, they agreed on a business partnership in the construction
sector and jointly organized beauty contests. And during the election campaign,
Agalarov gave Trump expensive gifts: in particular, a painting worth tens of
thousands of dollars. Agalarov denies that, while communicating with Trump, he
did it on behalf of Vladimir Putin, but it is unlikely that Trump could have
been unaware of Agalarov's good contacts in the Kremlin.
An interesting
coincidence is that it was Agalarov, on the rights of advertising (that is, for
money), who published an article in Kommersant on his behalf in defense of
Chaika after the revelatory investigation of FBK about his corruption cases.
And Chaika, in turn, publicly defended the fraudsters from the Magnitsky case
and stated that "there is not a single fact in the case."
Of course, Agalarov's
Kremlin contacts are not limited to Chaika alone. For example, he is one of the
largest contractors of United Russia. The party held its congresses at the
Crocus Expo exhibition center owned by the oligarch, and the catering company
owned by his son provides meals to United Russia and serves their banquets.
Corrupt contracts
Agalarov likes to say
that he does not receive state orders, but "executes orders" from the
country's leadership. Including Putin personally, whose photo hangs in the
oligarch's office. He gets multibillion-dollar government orders bypassing
competitive procedures.
For example, Agalarov
received contracts for the construction of stadiums for the World Cup,
facilities of the Far Eastern Federal University, the Vostochny cosmodrome, the
antikovid hospital, and the Central Ring Road around Moscow. In 2021, Forbes
estimated his fortune at $1.2 billion.
Most recently, in
August 2023, Agalarov's Crocus International JSC received another contract
worth 10.5 million rubles from the Federal Customs Service for the design of
the Torugart automobile checkpoint in the Kyrgyz Republic. Again, without
bidding.
But the son of the oligarch Emin Agalarov, as The Insider noted, formally receives contracts based on the results of the auction — however, fake ones.
